Info for Teachers

The Kundalini Yoga Collective was established as a way of providing dedicated spaces for teachers to teach and share Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, with our local communities. We are built on the philosophy that a group energy and united consciousness has the greatest potential to make a difference.

As a collective we also work together to bring the teachings of Kundalini Yoga out into the communities we serve, especially to those groups who may not otherwise be able to come to a yoga space. It is our belief that the benefits of a regular yoga practice should be accessible to anyone, regardless of socio-economic background, age or physical fitness.

When you become a member of the collective you take on a shared responsibility to operate the space where you teach, share the teachings in your local community and uphold the philosophy of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Visit the Teacher Membership page to find out more.

Teachers may also choose to make Work Exchange contribution in exchange for discounts or special classes/workshops. Contact us if you are interested in doing work exchange.

Seva or Selfless Service is also available at KYC, this is when you choose to volunteer your time and energy to serve the community from your heart, you may choose to serve with the upkeep of our spaces or helping in another special way.
