  • Connect to a lineage of yogis whose teachings are from a thousand years Himalayan tradition, through the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan and the link to the Golden Chain.

Why train with AAA?

AAA is a school of life and programs are designed to help students transform and reach a higher level of consciousness. We do not aim at big numbers for the sake of business, but aim at students’ growth. This is why we have high standards and expectations and do not consider that the teachings are for everyone.

You have to qualify yourself. Sometimes we hear that our school is strict. This is an evaluation based on how much you want to give yourself and which chances of growth you want to face: do you want to live a life in your comfort zone and keep being a victim of outside events, or do you want to do a life at your highest potential, one that has a deep meaning for you, your ancestors and the generations after you?

We strive to give students what they need rather that what they want. The difference is between the ego (who wants) and the soul (who needs). Students who have done the teacher training with us learn to love themselves, to serve others, to recognize their patterns and change them. They are happier, more relaxed, more loving and tolerant, and can help their family to do the same.

Our way of teaching is creative, alive (we laugh a lot!) and adapted to the participants and their needs. You will be invited to participate actively all along the training. During the training (between the modules) and after the training, you will be part of study groups. These study groups are lead by TNTs (Trainers in Training) or students currently registered in Level 2 programs. These meetings will give you an opportunity to share your experience, reflect and integrate your process. It is also a place to apply the teachings at the level of the community, by being authentic in a group, by learning how to listen and communicate, and by being inspired by others.

The Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) certification

KRI TT Level 1 logo Kundalini Yoga Ajai Alai AwakeningThe Kundalini Yoga Teacher Certificate will be delivered by the Kundalini Research Institute. It will give you access to IKYTA (International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association, funded by Yogi Bhajan), which guarantees the competencies of the Level 1 Trainers, the validity of the certification and its worldwide recognition.

A final written exam will be organized at the end of the training to validate your certified diploma by KRI.

The total program takes at least 220 hours, dividing in about 140 hours of class sessions (including class presentations, teachings and teacher guided Q&A and peer group discussions), 40 hours of assignments, homework and preparation, and at least 40 hours of personal practice.

A message from your teachers

Kundalini Yoga is a blend of dynamic physical postures, breathing, meditation, mantra and relaxation, the combination of which activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream. It brings balance to the body, mind and soul, thus to your life and the life around you.

For the past 5 years at least, an increasing number of people have been coming to the teacher training with no intention of becoming KY teachers, but rather improve the quality of their lives. Many of them come with no experience of KY whatsoever. This direct experience of teaching yourself the foundation and becoming your own

teacher, builds a platform of strength, radiance, intuition, and security, which in turn will make your self-esteem raise, will improve your relationships, and give you the possibility to consciously step into the life you want to have.

Never as good as now have I understood what Yogi Bhajan, the founder of KY, repeatedly said: “I do not want followers, I want teachers”.

It does not mean that you must teach classes. What it means is that by increasing your well-being and stamina, you will become a lighthouse for others around you, in your family, at your workplace, in the daily activities of your life. You are part of an exponential growth.

This is so precious nowadays, in the “age of stress” where we became numb and lost our sense of Self, trying to keep up with the changes that are coming so fast.

World and personal events whirl around our heads with such speed that it is difficult to remember who we are and what we are really doing. The news media informs us each day of critical problems we cannot solve. Opinions, commercials

and instructions bombard our minds, making it difficult to think for ourselves. It seems that everyone frantically wants to capture everybody else’s attention in an attempt to feel alive.

It is to rediscover who we really are and KY is a great tool for it.”

You can find out more about Satmukh and Sat Sarbat on the AAA website.
