Our classes

Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is accessible to everyone regardless of age, physical fitness or experience.  All classes are suitable for beginners to more advanced practitioners.

From time to time we offer specialised Beginner courses for people who are wanting to build confidence in their practice and explore some of the breathing and meditation techniques in more detail.

The courses run once weekly for 4 – 6 weeks and are advertised on our website and led by a variety of teachers.

Class rates are typically $20 Casual, $15 concession or $150-$170 for a 10 class pass. Please check your hub for details. Discounted rates are also available for low income earners, community groups or as agreed with your teacher.

Some students may also choose to make Work Exchange contribution in exchange for classes – this is where you can practice for free in exchange for assisting with the promotion of our spaces. Contact us if you are interested in doing work exchange.

Seva or Selfless Service is also available at KYC, this is when you choose to volunteer your time and energy to serve the community from your heart, you may choose to serve with the upkeep of our spaces or helping in another special way.

Early morning Aquarian Sadhana classes by donation are available weekly/monthly at most hubs.

Thanks for your question Cherilyn. We have mats for loan at the space or feel free to bring your own. This Friday 28 Nov is our monthly gong healing night. It’s a great intro to Kundalini Yoga so come along to that if you can. It starts at 7pm. Book your space by emailing info@kundaliniyogacollective.org.au

    Hi there,

I am thinking about coming to Kundalini Yoga classes…
I am an initiate of another tradition and as such am encouraged to wear white when I teach or practice.
I notice that in many of the photos on your website people are wearing white. Is this only for teachers or Kundalini initiates?
Is it appropriate for me to wear white to classes?
